Tallulah belle inspects my work after I removed our front upstairs windows. I had the door closed to keep dust down and she cried the whole time.
To properly install windows I needed to remove the old siding on the exterior then the old insulation. Then cut and fit new insulation ... glue and screw sheeting to custom shims and spacers to make the face of the house reasonably plumb and flat....then house wrap and install the new windows... pictures of the shiny metallic foam board and siding as well as the finished inside trim will hopefully be coming soon.
I also used my x-mas bonus to get some new flooring for the kitchen. Len helped "cook" the linoleum flat with the propane jet heater. Lulah gets running too fast now and slides around.... it really brightens the kitchen up when the sun is shining....still waiting for that sunny winter day to show you what I mean.
